Admissions Process

Applying to Profectus Academy of Toronto can be done in a few easy steps!

STEP 01
Complete the Application Form

Provide your contact and educational information to begin your enrollment in our courses. In this step you will also be providing information on your immunization records, as well as passport.

In regards to immunization, students attending school in Ontario are required to be vaccinated against the following diseases:

  • Diphtheria
  • Tetanus
  • Tetanus
  • Polio
  • Measles
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Meningococcal Disease
  • Pertussis (whooping cough)
  • Varicella (chickenpox) – for children born in 2010 or later
STEP 02
Pay the Registration Fee

There is an initial processing fee of $250.00 to review your transcripts and paperwork before offering admission. This will allow Profectus Academy to ensure that the necessary supports and resources are put in place to support very child and reach every student.

STEP 03
Send us your transcripts

Original transcripts from your institutions of learning are required to assess your eligibility for the course. Some courses of a higher level require prerequisites in order for the student to succeed.

STEP 04
Pay your deposit once you have been accepted

Families will have to pay a deposit of $3000 upon receiving notice that they have been accepted into Profectus Academy of Toronto.

STEP 05
Receive your Letter of Acceptance

Once the deposit has been paid, students will receive an official Letter of Acceptance that may be used to obtain a Study Visa/Permit..

STEP 06
Apply for your Study Visa/Permit

After students receive their letter of enrollment, they will need to apply for a Canadian study permit. This permit usually requires the student to present the official letter of enrollment to Immigration Canada.

STEP 07
Welcome conversation with the Administration and choose your courses

A member of the Administration Team will contact you to be Profectus Academy of Toronto offers a wide range of courses with various foci for students to choose from. Take a look through our courses to explore the various disciplines and offerings.

STEP 08
Pay your academic fees

Fees must be paid in full upon registration for a spot at Profectus Academy of Toronto. Refer to the Methods of Payment and Payment Policy for more details.

STEP 09
If necessary, confirm custodianship

Students who are below the age of 18 are required to have a custodian. This is a requirement by Citizenship and Immigration Canada which states that all persons under the age of 18 applying for a study permit must have a Custodian living in the local community in Canada.

In the event that you are unable to secure a custodian, please email admissions@profectustoronto.com to receive support.

STEP 10
Confirm your accommodations

Some students prefer to stay with family members or friends, however you must provide Profectus with your updated address once you arrive. In the case that there is no predetermined accommodation, you can apply for HOMESTAY where arrangements will be made for you to reside with a family in Canada. Homestay is arranged by the Canada Homestay Network, which can be accessed by clicking here.

STEP 11
Buy medical insurance

All students at Profectus Academy are required to have medical insurance. If you have medical insurance of your own, please provide Profectus Academy with a copy sent to admissions@profectustoronto.com.

If you do not have medical insurance you may purchase it via Study Insured, a company which specializes in Health Insurance for International Students. More information can be found here.
